Frequently Asked Questions (FAQs)

Product Information
What makes Baja Gold Salt different from regular sea salt?
Unlike refined table salts or even many commercial sea salts, Baja Gold is harvested from a pristine estuary in the Sea of Cortez. It is naturally air-dried by the sun and contains over 90 essential minerals and trace elements, including magnesium, potassium, and calcium, with a lower sodium chloride content.

Is Baja Gold Salt refined or processed?
Not at all. Our salt is unrefined, non-GMO, and contains no anti-caking agents or artificial additives. We believe in keeping the salt exactly as nature intended.

Is your salt tested for microplastics and heavy metals?
Yes. Quality and purity are our top priorities. We conduct regular third-party laboratory testing to ensure our salt meets the highest standards for purity, ensuring it is free from harmful levels of contaminants and microplastics.

Usage & Storage
How should I store my Baja Gold Salt?
Because our salt is naturally high in minerals and contains no anti-caking agents, it can absorb moisture from the air. We recommend storing it in a sealed glass jar or airtight container in a cool, dry place.

Can I use Baja Gold in a salt grinder?
Our “Coarse” grain is excellent for grinders. However, because our salt is naturally moist, we recommend using a grinder with a ceramic mechanism rather than metal to prevent corrosion and sticking.
